Are you a fan of PC games? Then you might be waiting for the latest and greatest computer games that are set to be released in 2017. Here are some of them:
- For Honor
This is a Medieval warfare game that requires players to play as a Viking, Knight, or Samurai. Each of these groups has unique skills.
The players are required to use the controller’s analog sticks to control movements/actions during battle. This requires more accuracy to achieve success.
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
This PC game is easily one of the most anticipated titles for 2017. This latest game in the horror franchise is from Capcom. The game is switching to first-person and reducing combat. The demo was released this year and was considered as one of the scariest ones. The game will also be available for PlayStation VR.
- South Park: The Fractured But Whole
This follow-up to the 2014 South Park title moves away from the fantasy theme. Instead, the kids from the Colorado town play superheroes. The game is set to launch sometime during Q1 2017. Players take on the role of “The New Kid” who’s attempting to become a member of the superhero gang.
- Mass Effect: Andromeda
BioWare’s newest sci-fi game is moving to the Andromeda galaxy. It will include new aliens, ships, and planets that gamers can explore.
There will be a lot of new stuff for fans. The gameplay seems to have a bigger focus on planet exploration. There will also be open worlds and a focus on discovery and crafting.
- Lego Worlds
Lego and Minecraft are going to be direct rivals when “Lego Worlds” rolls out to PC early next year. The game has been on Steam Early Access for a year. It allows Master Builders to build nearly anything they can imagine. They can also play using co-op and multi-player.
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
This game is available for pre-order on Amazon. Nintendo has confirmed the game for Wii U and the next console Nintendo Switch, there’s no set release date and is only set to be launched in Summer 2017.
It’s important to note that “Mario Kart 8” took a while to be released, but it was worth the wait. Gamers are hoping that the same will be true for the next Zelda game.
- Halo Wars 2
The announcement of “Halo Wars 2” wasn’t expected at Gamescom in September 2015. The strategy war game got a trailer, release date, and beta details.
“Halo Wars 2” is officially a game for Xbox Play anywhere. So you just have both it once to play the title on Windows 10 PCs or Xbox One. Progress is synced between your PC and console.
- Tekken 7
This game is set to be the last one in the series and is two decades after the original Tekken was launched for PlayStation. Tekken 7 will feature the end of the Mishima clan story.
